William Tyndale: Pioneer of the English Bible Translation ๐Ÿ“œ✝️

Renowned for translating most of the Bible into English, Tyndale was significantly influenced by prominent Protestant Reformers, including Martin Luther. ๐Ÿ“– Tyndale's translation was groundbreaking: it was the first English Bible to draw directly from Hebrew and Greek texts, the first to leverage the printing press, and the first of the new English Bibles of the Reformation. Moreover, it was the first English translation to use Jehovah ("Iehouah") as God's name, as preferred by English Protestant Reformers.
