While the idea of immortality might seem like something out of science fiction, this incredible jellyfish species possesses a unique ability that allows it to remain ageless, never falling victim to the passage of time. Unlike humans and many other living beings, Turritopsis dohrnii doesn't experience aging. Instead, it can undergo a process known as "transdifferentiation" when faced with adverse conditions or old age. This process essentially reverts its cells to a more juvenile state, resetting the biological clock and allowing the jellyfish to start its life cycle anew.
