History Maker:🎓 How A Nigerian Student, Benjamin Okoro, Became The First African To Graduate With 5.0 CGPA From A Russian University

A Nigerian trailblazer, Okoro Benjamin, carved his name in Russian academic history by becoming the first and sole African to graduate with a perfect CGPA of 5.0. 

Hailing from Anambra state, Benjamin's academic excellence shone brightly at Voronezh State University, where he achieved a remarkable feat, breaking academic records in Russian academia.

Benjamin's remarkable journey towards academic distinction began in Nigeria, where he stood out as an exceptional student at the Federal Government College in Anambra. His stellar academic prowess was evident when he secured 8As in 9 subjects during his senior secondary school certificate exams. 


Despite initial setbacks in his pursuit of Pharmacy at the University of Port Harcourt due to a high cut-off mark, his relentless determination led him to take the Nigeria Federal Scholarship Board Exam, where his outstanding performance earned him a scholarship to Voronezh State University in Russia.

Amid the challenges and opportunities encountered at one of Russia's prestigious universities, Benjamin's unwavering resolve to excel and bring honour to his homeland propelled him forward.

Along his academic journey, he received immense support and encouragement from lecturers, classmates, and friends, contributing significantly to his exceptional success in this extraordinary educational pursuit. Stuff of Legends!
