The specific location of this illustrious tomb, however, has eluded discovery. While their exact construction date remains shrouded in the mists of time, the gardens have captured the imagination of generations. Around 250 B.C., Philo of Byzantium penned an enchanting description, mentioning "plants cultivated at a height above ground level, and the roots of the trees are embedded in an upper terrace rather than in the earth." This vivid imagery has fueled the belief in the existence of these otherworldly gardens.
